Plan on testing a reasonable IoT Hardware configuration that resembles what you plan to use in Production. Validate that the hardware and operating systems being utilized are listed on the Pulse IoT Center VMware Compatibility Guide (VCG):


Operating Systems must be installed and network connectivity enabled prior to starting the Pulse evaluation.

Gateway OEM : Verify hardware certification.

Operating System : Verify OS versioning certification.

Things : Thing VCG certification is not required.

Network Considerations : Gateway devices require HTTPS connectivity to the Pulse IoT Center Instance that you are utilizing. Gateways should also be able to communicate with any of your Things.

Pulse IoT Center Instance : This will be assigned to you prior to your Pulse Evaluation.
